It's almost a year since I bought my Sony Xperia XZs. Back in time, this phone was pretty awesome with its super slow motion stuff. Well, actually I didn't really want to buy this phone because I was pretty satisfied with my earlier phone which's Xperia Z5 Compact, yes all of my phone I owned are Sony manufactured, somehow it can not be turned on. The crazy thing is, just couple days after I have Xperia XZs, from out of blue this Xperia Z5 Compact turn on and work perfectly just fine up until now. At first I thought it was such a waste but as the time being I realized that Xperia XZs is a good match of mine, beside the slowmo things it also kinda resolve the heat issue from previous series like my Xperia Z5 Compact.
Both Xperia XZs and Xperia Z5 Compact have this thing called Hi-Res Audio which means it can deliver better sound with compatible Hi-Res speaker or headset. These phone also can upscales compressed music to near high-resolution sound quality, thanks to DSEE HX (Digital Sound Enhanchement Engine).

To experience this Hi-Res Audio I decided to have a Hi-Res Headset by Sony called h.ear on 2 (WH-H900N). H.ear on 2 comes in 5 different colors which 3 of them are look alike to Xperia XZs colors. Since my phone is ice blue so I took the moonlit blue headset. WH-H900N is a bluetooth headset, even so it comes with a 3.5mm audio jack cable. This cable is really important because actually Hi-Res Audio compatible when the headset connect through supplied cable. So, is it such a waste to buy the bluetooth type..??? well, Sony also has LDAC, an audio technology from Sony that allows you to enjoy high quality wireless audio via Bluetooth. LDAC bluetooth audio transmits more data than conventional bluetooth wireless connections for exceptional sound quality that's closer to Hi-Res Audio.

So now I have Sony Xperia XZs and Sony h.ear on 2, it's time to listen some music. Since I prefer use bluetooth connection than wire cable so I need to know how to pair these blue devices together. At first, it was really easy to pair, just press and hold the power botton of the headset till it's on and then turn on the bluetooth in my phone and select WH-H900N, done, it's connected. The problem is occure when you tried to pair the headset to something else, it didn't go as smooth as the first try because after I turned the headset on, the WH-H900N bluetooth did not appeared on my other phone or PC at all.
After facing this problem, I need to read the manual instruction carefully. Apperently there are two ways to pair Xperia XZs and h.ear on 2 which manually pair the bluetooth device trough setting or use NFC (Near Field Communication).
1. Manually Pair the Bluetooth This is the way I connected it for the first time, but some trouble occure when I want to pair it with another phone or PC. Well, in this particular way, one thing to make sure is we need to enter pairing mode in the headset. There is a slightly difference way to enter this mode, when you pair the headset with a device for the first time after you bought it, turn on the headset will automaticaly enter pairing mode, but when you pair a 2nd or subsequent device (the headset has pairing information for other devices), you need to press and hold the button for about 7 seconds until indicator flashes blue and red alternately. The next step are same, just turn on your bluetooth in your device, look for WH-H900N, select it and it's pairing then succesfully connected.
2. Use NFC (Near Field Communication) This time it's easier, just activate your NFC in your phone and touch your phone NFC spot to your headset NFC spot and then there'll be a pop up asking if you want to make a connection, just tap yes and it's pairing and then connected.
If you use bluetooth connection and wanna experiencing about the Hi-Res Audio, you have to make sure to use LDAC mode, it's in your phone sound settings. It really bring a whole new level of your music pleasure.
In the end, Sony Xperia XZs and Sony h.ear on 2 are not only a perfect match by their color but also their collaboration that bring out a close to Hi-Res Audio to enjoy.
